BYU shocks Oklahoma
A shoulder injury to Heisman winner Sam Bradford opened the door for the BYU Cougars, who upset the Oklahoma Sooners 14-13 at Cowboys Stadium in Week 1.
BYU covered as a 23-point underdog while the final score played under the 64.5-point total.
The Cougars capitalize on Bradford's injury, getting 329 yards passing from quarterback Max Hall, who had two touchdowns and two interceptions. Receiver Dennis Pitta caught 90 yards in the upset win.
Bradford left just before the end of the first half with a shoulder injury, handing the ball to freshman Landry Jones. Jones was 6-for-12 for 51 yards. The rushing duo of Chris Brown and DeMarco Murray finished with a combined 117 yards on the ground.
