John Baker belted a two-run homer to help the Florida Marlins defeat the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-3 Saturday night, and evened the three-game series at Dolphin Stadium.

Andrew Miller tossed five innings for the win, allowing four hits and two runs. Matt Lindstrom threw a scoreless ninth to earn his seventh save.
Juan Pierre went 3-for-5 at the plate in a losing effort for the Dodgers. Jeff Weaver gave up two runs off four hits in relief.
