D-Backs outlast Marlins
Justin Upton hit his second home run of the game in the 13th innning to help the Arizona Diamondbacks defeat the Florida Marlins 11-9 in the second game of a doubleheader Wednesday night.
Arizona won the game as +110 underdogs, and the 20 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (10).
Upton finished 4-for-7 at the plate for the Diamondbacks. Chad Qualls tossed two innings of relief for the win, and Jon Rauch collected his first save.
Jeremy Hermida went 3-for-6 at the plate, including a two-run homer. Leo Nunez surrendered three runs and was saddled with the loss.
