Reds clip Nationals

Johnny Cueto gave up only one run over seven innings to earn the win, as the Cincinnati Reds nipped the Washington Nationals 3-2 on Tuesday night.

Cincinnati won as -120 road favorites as the teams played UNDER the 8.5-run total listed by oddsmakers.

Brandon Phillips drove in two runs for the Reds, who got a run batted in from Ryan Hanigan in the win.

Christian Guzman went 2-for-4 with a dinger for Washington, as Ross Detwiler allowed three runs over six innings to take the loss for the Nationals.
