Brewers top Giants in opener

Ryan Braun drove in two runs to help the Milwaukee Brewers defeat the San Francisco Giants 5-1 Friday night.

Milwaukee won the game as -130 favorites, but the six runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9).

Yovani Gallardo fanned nine batters over 7 2-3 innings in the win, and scattered just four hits and one run.

Pablo Sandoval homered in a losing effort for the Giants. Matt Cain gave up six hits and five runs over seven innings in the loss.
