Marlins sweep away Nationals
The Florida Marlins rallied with two runs in the eighth inning as they defeated the Washington Nationals 5-3 for a sweep of the three-game series at LandShark Stadium.

Cody Ross went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two RBIs for the Marlins. Dan Meyer earned the win in relief, and Leo Nunez closed out the ninth with his fourth save.
