San Francisco won the game as -200 favorites, and the nine runs made it OVER the posted over/under (7).
Aaron Rowand went 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs, and Randy Winn drove in two runs as well for the Giants. Tim Lincecum fanned nine batters over a three-hit seven-inning performance for the victory.
Russ Ortiz was tagged for eight runs over 5 2-3 innings in the loss.
