Giants Sanchez no-hits Padres

Jonathan Sanchez tossed a no-hitter as the San Francisco Giants shut down the San Diego Padres 7-0 Friday night at AT & T Park.

San Francisco won the game as -155 favorites, while the team’s played UNDER the posted over/under (9).

Aaron Rowand went 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs for the Giants. Jonathan Sanchez tossed eight innings for the win, fanning nine batters along the way.

Josh Banks gave up seven runs off eight hits over four innings in the loss.
