The New York Mets snapped a two-game slide against Atlanta Saturday with a 5-1 win over the Braves at Turner Field.
New York won the game as a -110 pick’em, and the six runs went UNDER the day’s posted over/under (8).
Angel Pagan went 3-for-4 at the plate with one RBI and a run scored for the Mets. Johan Santana threw seven scoreless innings for his 11th victory.
Chipper Jones belted a solo homer for the only Braves run. Kenshin Kawakami allowed two runs off five hits over 6 2-3 innings in suffering his sixth loss.
