Moss blasts Pirates over Brewers
Brandon Moss belted a walk-off homer in the ninth to give the Pittsburgh Pirates an 8-7 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers Wednesday afternoon in the rubber match at PNC Park.
Pittsburgh won the game as a -110 pick’em, while the 15 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (8.5).
Ryan Doumit led the way with two home runs for three RBIs for the Pirates. Matt Capps fanned two batters in a scoreless ninth to record his second win in relief this season.
Ryan Braun belted a solo home run and drove in four runs for the Brewers. Mitch Stetter gave up the winning run and suffered the loss.
