D-Backs blank Pirates

Justin Upton launched a two-run homer and drove in three runs as the Arizona Diamondbacks shut down the Pittsburgh Pirates 7-0 Saturday night at Chase Field.

Arizona won the game as -140 favorites, while the team’s played UNDER the posted over/under (9).

Doug Davis allowed five hits over six scoreless innings to earn his fifth victory of the season.

Ross Ohlendorf was tagged for six hits and three runs over six innings in the loss.
