D-Backs rally past Pirates

The Arizona Diamondbacks scored five runs in the top of the 12th inning to defeat the Pittsburgh Pirates 11-6 Thursday night at PNC Park.

Arizona won the game as -130 favorites, while the 17 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (8).

Alex Romero went 4-for-7 at the plate and drove in three runs for the Diamondbacks. Jon Rauch improved to 2-0 with the victory.

Ronny Cedeno drove in a pair of runs in a losing effort for the Pirates. Steven Jackson gave up six hits and five runs over two innings of relief.
