Mets edge Giants

Daniel Murphy delivered an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning Sunday to give the New York Mets a 3-2 win over the San Francisco Giants.

The Mets were a +100 underdog in the game and the five runs scored fell UNDER the posted over/under total (8).

Luis Castillo hit a two-run home run for the Mets, while Mike Pelfry allowed two runs n five hits in 7 1-3 innings.

Eugenio Velez was 2-3 with an RBI and a run scored for San Francisco and Jonathan Sanchez gave up two runs on four hits in seven innings.
