The Arizona Diamondbacks avoided a three-game sweep by defeating the San Francisco Giants 11-0 Thursday night in the series finale at AT & T Park.
Arizona won the game as a +115 underdog, while the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5).
Brandon Allen led the Diamondbacks with a three-run homer and drove in four runs. Yusmeiro Petit tossed a four-hit shutout over six innings in the win.
Joe Martinez gave up 10 hits and eight runs over 4 1-3 innings in suffering the loss.
