Brewers sneak past Cardinals
The Milwaukee Brewers avoided a three-game sweep by St. Louis with a 4-3 victory over the Cardinals Thursday afternoon in the series finale at Busch Stadium.

Casey McGehee launched a two-run homer and drove in three runs to lead the Brewers. Manny Parra allowed five hits and two runs over 6 1-3 innings to earn his 10th victory. Trevor Hoffman closed out the game for his 30th save.
