Braves finish off Mets
The Atlanta Braves completed a three-game sweep of the New York Mets with a 5-2 win in the series finale Wednesday night at Citi Field.
Atlanta won the game as -130 favorites, while the seven runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).
Adam LaRoche went 3-for-5 at the plate and drove in a pair of runs to lead the Braves. Tim Hudson went six innings on the mound for the win, and Rafael Soriano collected his 26th save.
Angel Pagan had two hits and drove in one run for the Mets. Mike Pelfrey gave up nine hits and four runs over six innings in the loss.
