Nationals rally to sweep Mets
Justin Maxwell belted a walk-off grand slam home run to lead the Washington Nationals to a 7-4 victory over the New York Mets, and a sweep of the three-game series Wednesday at Nationals Park.
The Nationals won the game as -135 favorites, and the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5).
Ryan Zimmerman also homered for the Nationals. Ron Villone closed out the ninth for the win.
Omir Santos went 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs for the Mets. Francisco Rodriguez allowed five runs to suffer the loss.
