Rockies sweep away Brewers

The Colorado Rockies clinched a playoff berth with a 9-2 rout of the Milwaukee Brewers Thursday, sweeping the three-game series at Coors Field.

Colorado won the game as -175 favorites, and the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (10).

Garrett Atkins went 3-for-4 at the plate and drove in three runs to lead the Rockies. Aaron Cook allowed just four hits and one run over eight innings for the win.

Mike Cameron had two hits and drove in one run for the Brewers. Manny Parra took the loss on the mound, giving up five runs over 2 2-3 innings.
