Buck, Royals overwhelm Indians

John Buck went 2-for-4 with two homers and five runs batted in to lead the Kansas City Royals over the Cleveland Indians 9-3 on Tuesday night.

Kansas City cashed as -155 home favorites as the teams played over the 9-run total listed by oddsmakers.

Mike Jacobs and David DeJesus were both 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Royals, while Kyle Davis gave up three runs over 5 2-3 innings to get the win for Kansas City.

Mark DeRosa and Asdrubal Cabrera each went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Cleveland, as losing pitcher Carl Pavano allowed four runs over six innings for the Indians.
