Twins sweep Angels

Glenn Perkins allowed only one run on four hits in eight innings Sunday, as the Minnesota Twins completed a three-game sweep of the Los Angeles Angels with a 3-1 win.

The Twins were a -140 favorite in the game and the four runs scored fell UNDER the posted over/under total (9).

Jose Morales was 2-3 with an RBI and a run scored for Minnesota and Carlos Gomez was 3-3 with an RBI.

Bobby Abreu was 2-3 with a run scored for Los Angeles, while Shane Loux took the loss after giving up three runs on 10 hits over seven innings.
