The Minnesota Twins snapped a two-game losing skid with a 5-1 victory over the Cleveland Indians in the opener of a three-game series at Jacobs Field.

Justin Morneau homered and drove in two runs to lead the Twins. Nick Blackburn threw seven innings for the win, allowing six hits and one run.
