Indians knock off Red Sox
Mark DeRosa scored on Javier Lopez's error in the bottom of the ninth inning, as the Cleveland Indians upended the Boston Red Sox 9-8 on Tuesday night.
Cleveland won as +100 home underdogs as the game played over the 10-run total listed by oddsmakers.
Ben Francisco went 2-for-4 with a three-run jack for the Indians, while Kerry Wood picked up the win in relief of starter Anthony Reyes for Cleveland.
Kevin Youkilis and Jacoby Ellsbury had two runs batted in apiece for Boston, as Lopez was hit with the loss after allowing the winning run in the ninth.
