Mark Buehrle tossed a one-hit shutout through eight innings Thursday, as the Chicago White Sox blanked the Detroit Tigers 6-0 at U.S. Cellular Field.

Paul Konerko went 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in two runs for the White Sox. Buehrle improved to a perfect 5-0 with the victory.
