Paul Konerko drove in the winning run with a sacrifice fly to lift the Chicago White Sox to a 3-2 victory over the Texas Rangers Saturday night, and evened the three-game series at U.S. Cellular Field.
The White Sox won the game as -140 favorites, but the five runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9).
Carlos Quentin went 2-for-3 at the plate with a run batted in for the White Sox. Scott Linebrink tossed the win, and Bobby Jenks closed out the ninth with his seventh save.
Elvis Andrus and Ian Kinsler drove in the runs for the Rangers. Kevin Millwood surrendered seven hits and three runs over seven innings.
