Tigers sweep away Rangers
Miguel Cabrera drove in the winnning run to lift the Detroit Tigers to a 4-3 win over the Texas Rangers Thursday, and completed a three-game sweep at Comerica Park.
Detroit won the game as -140 favorites, but the seven runs went UNDER the day's posted over/under (8.5).
Curtis Granderson belted a two-run homer for the Tigers. Edwin Jackson tossed eight innings for the win, and Fernando Rodney closed out the ninth for his eighth save of the season.
David Murphy went 3-for-3 at the plate with a solo home run for the Rangers. Kevin Millwood went the distance in a losing effort, allowing four runs on six hits.
