Angels stop White Sox to avoid sweep

Bobby Abreu drove in two runs to give the LA Angels a 3-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox Wednesday night at Angel Stadium.

The Angels won the game as -200 favorites, while the four runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9).

Juan Rivera went 2-for-3 at the plate and drove in the other run for the Angels. Jered Weaver tossed eight innings for the win, and Brian Fuentes collected his 13th save.

Paul Konerko drove in the lone run for the White Sox, while Gavin Floyd gave up three runs over eight complete innings in the loss.
