A’s clinch series over White Sox

The Oakland A’s clinched their four-game series with the Chicago White Sox with a 7-0 win in the series finale Thursday afternoon at U.S. Cellular Field.

Oakland won the game as +145 underdogs, while the seven runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9).

Jason Giambi belted a three-run homer to lead the A’s. Brett Anderson tossed seven scoreless innings to earn the victory.

Mark Buehrle gave up five hits and four runs over eight innings in the loss.
