Royals even series with Jays

Mark Teahen belted a two-run homer in helping the Kansas City Royals cruise to a 6-2 win over the Toronto Blue Jays Saturday afternoon, and evened the three-game series at Rogers Centre.

Kansas City won the game as +150 underdogs, while the eight runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9).

Willie Bloomquist hit a bases-loaded triple to finish with three RBIs for the Royals. Luke Hochevar scattered four hits and two runs over 6 2-3 innings for the win.

Raul Chavez hit a two-run homer for the Blue Jays, while Scott Richmond allowed five runs over 4 2-3 innings in the loss.
