Orioles rally past Mariners
The Baltimore Orioles scored five runs in the top of the ninth inning to rally for a 5-3 victory over the Seattle Mariners Wednesday afternoon in the series finale at Safeco Field.
Baltimore won the game as +105 underdogs, while the combined score went UNDER the posted over/under (9).
Ty Wigginton led the rally with two RBIs, while Brian Bass tossed two innings of relief for the victory. George Sherrill tossed the ninth inning to earn his 19th save.
Jose Lopez led the Mariners with a two-run homer, and David Aardsma gave up five runs in relief and suffered the loss.
