Angels dump Yankees in opener

Kendry Morales and Erick Eybar hit three-run homers to help power the LA Angels to a 10-6 victory over the New York Yankees Friday night at Angel Stadium.

LA won the game as a +110 underdog, while the 16 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (10).

Jason Bulger improved to 4-1 the win in relief, and Brian Fuentes recorded the final out for his 25th save of the season.

Alex Rodriguez had three hits, including a solo home run and two RBIs. Mark Melancon gave up three runs in relief in taking the loss.
