Adam Kennedy and Rajai Davis hit two-run homers in the seventh inning to lift the Oakland A’s to a 7-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays Saturday night at Tropicana Field.
Oakland won the game as +175 underdogs, while the nine runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5).
Orlando Cabrera drove in two runs in a three-run eighth inning for the A’s. Dallas Braden improved to 7-7 with the victory over six innings of work.
Ben Zobrist went 2-for-4 at the plate with one RBI for the Rays. Matt Garza gave up seven hits and three runs over 6 1-3 innings on the mound.
