Indians fend off Tigers
The Cleveland Indians gave up two runs in the ninth inning, but held on for a 5-4 victory over the Detroit Tigers Saturday night at Comerica Park.
Cleveland won the game as +110 underdogs, while the nine runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9.5).
Travis Hafner led the Indians with two hits and two RBIs. Carl Pavano pitched eight innings for the win, and Kerry Wood collected his 12th save of the season.
Miguel Cabrera belted a two-run homer for the Tigers. Armando Galarraga surrendered nine hits and four runs over six innings in the loss.
