Twins upset Athletics in extra innings
Michael Cuddyer's run-scoring triple in the top of the 10th inning lifted the Minnesota Twins over the Oakland Athletics 3-2 on Tuesday night.
Minnesota won as +120 road underdogs as the game played UNDER the 8-run total listed by sportsbooks.
Delmon Young and Nick Punto also drove in runs for the Twins, while Matt Guerrier picked up the win in relief of starter Anthony Swarzak for Minnesota.
Orlando Cabrera and Adam Kennedy knocked in runs for Oakland, as Andrew Bailey was handed the loss after allowing the go-ahead run in the top of the 10th inning.
