The Tampa Bay Rays completed a two-game sweep of the Boston Red Sox 6-4 Wednesday night at Tropicana Field.
Tampa Bay won the game as -150 favorites, but the 10 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9.5).
Carlos Pena and Carl Crawford belted two-run homers to lift the Rays. David Price pitched six innings for the win, and J.P. Howell closed out the game with his 12th save.
Victor Martinez went 2-for-4 at the plate with a solo home run for the Red Sox. Brad Penny allowed six hits and five runs over six innings in the loss.
