Indians edge Twins in rubber match

Trevor Crowe doubled in the winning run in the seventh ininng to give the Cleveland Indians a 2-1 win over the Minnesota Twins in the series finale Thursday afternoon at Progressive Field.

Cleveland won the game as +135 underdogs, while the team's played UNDER the day's posted over/under (9.5).

Jhonny Peralta drove in the other run for the Indians. Tony Sipp tossed just over one inning of relief to record the victory, while Kerry Wood turned away the side in the ninth for his 15th save.

Michael Cuddyer scored the only Twins run off a wild pitch. Nick Blackburn surrendered both runs and fell to 8-6 with the loss.
