Red Sox sweep away Blue Jays
The Boston Red Sox completed a three-game sweep of the lowly Toronto Blue Jays with an 8-1 victory Thursday night in the series finale at Rogers Centre.
Boston won the game as -170 favorites, and the nine runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5).
J.D. Drew belted two home runs and finished 4-for-4 with three RBIs for the Red Sox. Jon Lester tossed eight solid innings for the win, allowing just three hits and one run.
Brett Cecil gave up six runs off six hits in just 4 1-3 innings in the loss.
