Red Sox outgun White Sox

Mike Lowell hit a three-run drive, as the Boston Red Sox downed the Chicago White Sox 12-8 on Monday night.

Boston won as -180 home favorites, while the teams played OVER the 10-run total set by sportsbooks.

Dustin Pedroia went 3-for-4 with two runs batted in for the Red Sox, as Ramon Ramirez got the victory in relief of starter Clay Buchholz for Boston.

Paul Konerko smacked a three-run big fly for Chicago, while losing pitcher Jose Contreras allowed seven runs - one earned - over 2 2-3 innings for the White Sox.
