The Minnesota Twins scored all their runs in the first inning and held on for a 3-2 victory over the Texas Rangers Friday night at the Metrodome.
Minnesota won the game as a -110 pick’em, while the five runs went UNDER the night’s posted over/under (9.5).
Jason Kubel, Michael Cuddyer, and Joe Mauer drove in the Twins runs. Brian Duensing got the win with seven innings of work, and Joe Nathan closed out the game for his 33rd save.
David Murphy and Josh Hamilton knocked in the runs for the Rangers. Tommy Hunter gave up seven hits and three runs over seven innings in the loss.
