Angels explode past A’s

Kendry Morales cracked two home runs and drove in six runs to lead the LA Angels over the Oakland A’s 11-7 Friday night at Angel Stadium.

LA won the game as -145 favorites, and the 18 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (10).

Vladimir Guerrero went 2-for-4 at the plate with two runs batted in and scored a pair of runs. Jose Arredondo got the win in relief, and Brian Fuentes notched his 37th save.

Scott Hairston belted a two-run homer for the A’s. Brad Ziegler surrendered four runs in relief to suffer the loss.
