The Seattle Mariners evened their three-game series with a 6-3 doubling of the Kansas City Royals Friday night.
Seattle won the game as -225 favorites, while the nine runs made it OVER the posted over/under (7.5).
Josh Wilson led the Mariners with three RBIs, and Mike Sweeney had two hits in the win. Felix Hernandez improved to 13-5 with the win, and David Aardsma collected his 31st save.
Mitch Maier smacked a two-run homer for the Nationals. Brian Bannister gave up seven hits and six runs over 6 2-3 innings in the loss.
