Josh Hamilton was 2-for-4 with two big flies and three runs batted in to lead the Texas Rangers over the Toronto Blue Jays 5-2 in Game 2 of their doubleheader on Tuesday night.
Texas won as -170 home favorites, while the game played UNDER the 10.5-run total set by oddsmakers.
Brandon McCarthy allowed only one run over 6 1-3 innings to earn the victory for the Rangers, who cashed Game 1 of the twinbill 5-2 as -140 favorites earlier in the day.
Aaron Hill and Lyle Overbay drove in the runs for Toronto, while Brian Tallet took the loss after giving up four runs over five innings for the Blue Jays.
