White Sox rally to avoid sweep
Gordon Beckham and Paul Konerko homered in a four-run ninth inning Wednesday, as the Chicago White Sox defeated the Minnesota Twins 4-2 and avoided a sweep of the three-game series at the Metrodome.
The White Sox won the game as -150 favorites, while the team’s played UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).
Alexei Ramirez drove in the winning run for the White Sox. D.J. Carrasco earned the win in relief.
Jason Kubel batted in both runs for the Twins. Joe Nathan gave up all four runs to suffer the loss.
