The Oakland A’s scored four runs in the third inning Thursday, en route to a 5-2 win over the Cleveland Indians in the opener of a four-game set.
Oakland won the game as a -110 pick’em, while the seven runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9).
Kurt Suzuki belted a three-run homer to lead the A’s. Clayton Mortensen earned the win, and Andrew Bailey closed out the win for his 25th save.
Michael Brantley and Trevor Crowe each had an RBI for the Indians. Justin Masterson surrendered six hits and five runs over four innings in the loss.
