Yankees edge Angels in rubber match

The New York Yankees scored all three runs in the fourth inning, and held on for a 3-2 victory over the LA Angels Wednesday night in the series rubber match at Angel Stadim.

New York won the game as +120 underdogs, while the five runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9.5).

Melky Cabrera went 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in one run for the Yankees. A.J. Burnett whiffed 11 batters over 5 2-3 innings of work to earn his 12th victory.

Chone Figgins went 3-for-4 at the plate for the Angels. Scott Kazmir surrendered six hits and three runs over six innings in the loss.
