Jhonny Peralta drove in the winning run Saturday to give the Cleveland Indians a 9-8 victory over the Baltimore Orioles at Progressive Field.
Cleveland won the game as -145 favorites, while the 17 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (9.5).
Peralta finished 3-for-5 at the plate with two RBIs, while Andy Marte went deep for a two-run blast and finished with three RBIs for the Indians. Kerry Wood tossed the ninth inning and picked up the win.
Luke Scott launched a three-run homer in a losing effort for the Orioles. Jim Johnson allowed the winning run in relief and was tagged with the loss.
