Angels dump A’s in opener

The LA Angels took the opener of a three-game series with a 5-2 victory over the Oakland A’s Friday night.

LA won the game as -125 favorites, while the seven runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).

Mike Napoli went 2-for-4 at the plate with one RBI for the Angels. Jered Weaver tossed five scoreless innings to pick up the win.

Kurt Suzuki had two hits and drove in a run for the A’s. Gio Gonzalez gave up four runs in six innings in the loss.
