Twins outlast Tigers, win AL Central

Alexei Casilla's run-scoring single in the bottom of the 12th inning lifted the Minnesota Twins over the Detroit Tigers 6-5 and to the AL Central title on Tuesday.

Minnesota cashed as -175 home favorites, while the game played OVER the 8.5-run total listed by sportsbooks.

Orlando Cabrera hit a two-run homer for the Twins, as Bobby Keppel picked up the win in relief of starter Scott Baker for Minnesota.

Miguel Cabrera was 2-for-5 with a two-run dinger for Detroit, while Fernando Rodney took the loss after allowing the game-winning run in the bottom of the 12th inning for the Tigers.
