Red Sox shut down Phillies

Daisuke Matsuzaka tossed a one-hit shutout as the Boston Red Sox defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 5-0 Saturday night.

The Red Sox won the game as +110 underdogs, while the teams played UNDER the posted over/under (10.5) set by sportsbooks.

Adrian Beltre went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs to lead the way, and David Ortiz scored twice in the win.

Kyle Kendrick surrendered eight hits and five runs over 4 2-3 innings in the Phillies loss.
