Jays soar over Padres

John buck cracked a two-run homer to lead the Toronto Blue Jays in a 7-1 win over the San Diego Padres Wednesday in the rubber match at Petco Park.

The Blue Jays won the game as -115 favorites, and the nine runs made it OVER the posted over/under (6.5) set by sportsbooks.

Vernon Wells also went deep for the Blue Jays, and Ricky Romero scattered five hits over six innings for the victory.

Kevin Correia surrendered nine hits and five runs over five innings in the Padres loss.
