Rangers edge Blue Jays
Jarrod Saltalamacchia's run-scoring single with the bases loaded in bottom of the ninth inning lifted the Texas Rangers over the Toronto Blue Jays 5-4 on Monday.
Texas cashed as -150 home favorites, while the game resulted in a PUSH on the 9-run total listed by oddsmakers.
Nelson Cruz went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and four runs batted in for the Rangers, as Frank Francisco picked up the win in relief of Scott Feldman for Texas.
Vernon Wells was 3-for-4 with a two-run jack and three RBIs for Toronto, while Jason Frasor was hit with the loss after allowing the winning run in the bottom of the ninth.
